Each holiday season, she would get together with her two Besties to make hundreds of chocolate covered cherries for clients, friends, and family gifts. While they were hairdressers by day, they literally transformed into candy makers for a few days each year! If Amy Jo was lucky, she would get to taste test…before they had liquified!

After eight years of Valenza Chocolatier, Amy Jo has finally added “Cioccolato Covered Cherries” to her collection. Like the Tartarugas, Amy Jo has added her own twist to this family tradition by making them STEMLESS….think of them as a chocolate covered cherry bonbon! To add her Italian twist, she is using delicious all-natural Maraschino Starlino cherries (product of Italy). These luxury cherries mature for two weeks in their natural Marasca juice, then rest for another week to achieve their peak flavor. All this sweetness is balanced with a 63% dark chocolate shell, hand painted with white chocolate strips and festive cocoa butter art.
